Stoupa

Stoupa Beach

On the western coast of the Mani Peninsula, about 45 km south of Kalamata, lies Stoupa. The area features diverse coastlines with beautiful sandy beaches: Foneas outside the village, the fine sandy beach of Kalogria at the edge of the village, and the stunning sandy bay of Stoupa right in town, backed by the Taygetos mountains.

Thanks to its idyllic harbor bay with the fine sandy town beach, the blue waters, the picturesque promenade with numerous shops and tavernas, and the traditional local architecture, Stoupa has become a popular destination in the region.

About 300 m from Stoupa Beach, on a beautiful garden property, is Spiti Nicola.

Just outside the village, in a gentle, quiet hillside location near Lefktro, is Spiti-Manolis with a pool, built in the characteristic Mani style with golden-yellow local stones. The bakery, supermarket, and tavernas of Stoupa are all within walking distance.
