Description

Above the fine sandy bay of Finikounda and the village of the same name, on a hill with a fantastic view of the sea and the islands of Shizza and Sapientza, lies the beautifully furnished Villa Emilios with private pool.

The comfortable and tastefully furnished Villa Emilios stands on the highest point of the property with a wide, beautiful view of the sea and the surrounding, lovely landscape of the southern Peloponnese. Decorated in the classic colors of the country, white and blue, the two-storey vacation home was renovated, newly furnished and equipped in 2023. Villa Emilios is quietly and idyllically situated on a beautiful hillside, surrounded by a magnificent garden with olive trees, palm trees, fruit trees and numerous Mediterranean plants.

Access to the house is via a few steps directly into the living room with wood-paneled high ceiling and adjoining kitchen corner with dining room area. Direct access from the living room to the covered terrace with fantastic views of the pool, the blue sea and the beautiful green landscape. Adjacent to the living room is the master bedroom with its own bathroom. A spiral staircase leads from the living room to the ground floor, where there is a large living room with a sofa for 2 people and an adjoining desk area. Direct access to the front ground floor terrace of the vacation home, the garden and the pool. The living room leads to the two bedrooms and the shared bathroom. Both bedrooms have access to a side terrace with wonderful views of the surrounding hills and the sea. The pool terrace leads through the garden to another terrace with a brick-built sofa. On the ground floor of the house, directly above the terrace, there is a separate storage room with a washing machine.

The pool terrace is equipped with sun loungers and parasols. The approx. 50 m² private pool (11 x 4.5 m, 1.50 m deep, not heatable, in operation all year round) provides refreshment and bathing fun for young and old.

The large pool in front of the house with its various terraces and sun loungers invites you to swim, linger and sunbathe. In the evening you can enjoy the beautiful sunset with a glass of wine and let the day fade away. The covered BBQ terrace with gas barbecue is located to the side of the pool. The wood-burning stove in the living room provides warmth and comfort on some cooler days. The dining room table adjoining the open, bright kitchen is a great place to cook, sit and eat together in convivial company.

If you are looking for a vacation destination full of originality and close to the sea, want to swim in crystal-clear waters and attach great importance to living comfort, then this vacation home is the best choice for your vacation. What awaits you here is a wonderful, well-kept ambience, a Mediterranean idyll by the sea, a beautifully designed, large pool, plenty of space for playing, dreaming, sunbathing and swimming. The property is ideal for couples and families with children.

Both Finikounda and the neighboring villages of Methoni, Koroni and Pylos (10-20 km away) with their many tavernas, cafés and bars provide plenty of culinary variety. Beautiful hiking routes, water sports activities and interesting cultural excursions in the surrounding area round off the offer.

Alles bestens - gerne wieder. Das Haus ist perfekt. Es liegt ruhig auf dem Berg und man hat seine Ruhe. Das Haus hat alles, was es braucht. Der Vermieter und die beiden Personen, die vor Ort für das Haus zuständig sind, kümmern sich liebevoll über alles. Es ist unkompliziert und man kann von Beginn an den Urlaub genießen.

Die Villa Emilios in der Nähe des kleinen Ortes Lachanada in Messenien hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.

Ein Haus, das keine Wünsche offenlässt, mit einem schier unbeschreiblich weiten Blick auf den Golf von Messenien und den vorgelagerten Inseln.

Das gesamte Haus, mit seinen zwei Etagen, ist gefliest und absolut sauber. Der gepflegte Garten zeigt auch im Herbst noch rot, gelb und blau blühende Pflanzen. Der besonders große, immer saubere Pool wird gründlich auf seine Wasserqualität geprüft. Der Chef vom Dienst stand uns immer sofort mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Die weitläufige Poollandschaft mit ihren sechs sehr stabilen, funktionalen Liegen und besonders bequemen Auflagen, nebst den drei großen Sonnenschirmen, boten uns Entspannung pur.

Die Matratzen der Betten und die himmlische Ruhe ließen uns wie Murmeltiere schlafen.

Die Küche ist mit allen nur erdenklichen Utensilien bestückt, so dass nichts fehlte.

Der ovale Esszimmerbereich ist Dank der vielen Fenster mit Blick auf den Golf einfach ein Gedicht. Die zahlreichen Terrassentüren und Fenster sind alle mit perfekt sitzenden Fliegengittern ausgestattet. Hinzu kommen Metallblenden, die man bei Bedarf als Sonnenschutz schließen kann.

Unsere Mahlzeiten nahmen wir auf der geräumigen oberen Terrasse ein mit Blick auf das Meer und die sanfte Hügellandschaft.

Bei unserer Ankunft war der Kühlschrank bereits mit Wasser, Milch, Softdrinks, Wein & Bier gefüllt.

Der Hauseigentümer schickte uns vor der Reise eine detaillierte Informationsschrift mit einer Wegbeschreibung zum Haus und weitreichende Hinweise zu Stränden, Restaurants und Ausflugszielen. Diese Informationen waren sehr hilfreich.

Wir kamen an und fühlten sofort wohl.

Wir können die Villa Emilios ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen und bedanken uns für die wundervollen Tage dort.

Einfach wunderbar - Alles hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen - der Blick über die wunderschöne Landschaft ist noch viel schöner, als auf den Fotos erkennbar, die herrliche Ruhe,…

Das Haus ist größer und geräumiger, als auf den Fotos ersichtlich,….

Ich kann die Villa Emilios nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Die Villa, der Pool, der Garten… alles picobello sauber- alle Küchengeräte/ - Utensilien die man sich vorstellen kann, sind vorhanden, … eine tolle Kaffeemaschine, ein Gasgrill,….

Bei unserer Ankunft war der Kühlschrank bereits mit Wasser, Milch, Softdrinks, Wein & Bier gefüllt- so etwas habe ich selten erlebt- meist sind ja die Kaffee Kapseln und Spülmaschinentaps knapp bemessen- nicht hier.

Man kommt an und fühlt sich sofort wohl - ein Traum.

Bequeme Betten, gut funktionierende Klimaanlagen,….

Der Besitzter hatte mir vor der Ankunft eine ausführliche Email geschrieben- mit allen Erklärungen für das Haus - Anfahrt, tolle Tipps für Strände, Restaurants und Ausflugsziele,… perfekt und falls man doch eine Frage haben sollte- hat man eine super freundliche Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort, die helfen kann.

Der Aufenthalt in der Villa Emilios hat uns sehr gut gefallen!
