Northeast of the charming town of Gythio and above the fine sandy Glyfada beach lies the beautiful hillside location of Valtaki. From here, there is a wide, unobstructed view over the Laconian Bay. The landlord lives on the upper floor, while the two adjacent holiday apartments, Konstantinos and Georgia, on the ground floor are available for rent.

The friendly and functionally furnished ground floor apartment Konstantinos has a front entrance terrace and a side terrace shaded by trees with garden furniture – ideal for enjoying the beautiful view of the sea and the gently rolling hills. The living room with a pull-out sofa for one person opens onto an open-plan kitchen area. Adjacent to this are the bedroom and bathroom. The Konstantinos holiday apartment is particularly suitable for couples and small families who want to spend a relaxing holiday in a quiet, natural environment close to the sea.

On the fine, partially developed Glyfada beach directly below the house – as well as on the small Valtaki Bay a little further west – you won't find any snack bars or loud music. Instead, you can swim in the clear water and sunbathe undisturbed in the small dunes. A tavern above the beach, about halfway to the accommodation, offers good, traditional Greek cuisine.

If you like to enjoy a little city life on holiday, don't want to travel long distances for your daily errands and still want to live in a quiet and natural environment, this is the perfect location for you. The nearby picturesque town of Gythio, with its harbour promenade, nice shops, taverns, cafés, ATMs and bars, offers a pleasant change from the quiet surroundings of the house. The location of the Konstantinos holiday accommodation is an ideal starting point for excursions and forms the gateway to both the wild and romantic Mani and the eastern ‘finger’ of Laconia, to Monemvasia or to the beautiful island of Elafonisos. A visit to the Byzantine Mystras to the north is also well worth it.
