In the south of the Argolis lies the picturesque town of Porto Cheli. Its charming, wind-sheltered harbour is a true paradise for sailing enthusiasts and a popular winter retreat. Alongside the waterfront promenade with its many taverns, cafés and shops, the small hillside old town is one of Porto Cheli’s highlights.
The historic centre stretches between the harbour and the lagoon directly behind it. Porto Cheli is well connected by sea (Flying Dolphins) to Piraeus as well as to the nearby islands of Spetses and Hydra.
About five kilometres south of Porto Cheli, between rocky headlands and numerous swimming coves, lies the area of Kosta with views of the island of Spetses. From Kosta, regular shuttle boats and water taxis operate to the car-free island opposite.
Several small coves, a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere, beautiful sea views, the scent of pine trees and the fresh sea breeze define this region.
Water taxis provide convenient connections from Porto Cheli to the islands of Spetses and Hydra. Timetables can be found here: www.dolphins.gr
At present, we do not offer accommodation in Porto Cheli. We recommend holiday homes and apartments in other locations of the Argolis.
