On the northwestern coastal stretch of the Erymanthos Valley, directly by the blue sea, lies the area of Mpouka, below the village of Kamares. It is a peaceful seaside landscape, nestled between dense olive groves and citrus plantations on the northwestern coast of the Peloponnese, between Patras and Aigio.
This region is characterised by a gently rolling, agricultural coastal landscape with small settlements and secluded beaches right by the sea, as well as imposing mountains and lush forests in the background. From Mpouka, you enjoy views over the Gulf of Corinth, the opposite mainland coast, and as far as the mountains of Boeotia, along with beautiful sunsets.
Patras is only 35 km away, the nearest town Aigio just 12 km, and Athens Airport can be reached in about 2 hours by car.
In this peaceful setting, a holiday complex with a swimming pool was built in 2011, just a few metres from the beach. The modern holiday home Athina-Georgia is located within this complex. It is an ideal base for hikes to the Styx Waterfall, famous since antiquity, to the Lousios Gorge, to the monasteries of Mega Spileon and Aghia Lavra, or for visits to nearby ancient settlements.
