Gently sloping sandy beaches, pine and fir forests that extend all the way to secluded, picturesque coves along the sea characterize Chalkidiki. It is an ideal region for surfers and sailors. The three peninsulas of Chalkidiki stretch like three fingers into the Aegean Sea.

Kassandra, in the western part of the peninsula, features gently rolling hills, lively towns, and a wide variety of leisure activities. Sithonia, in the middle, offers a more mountainous and unspoiled character, less developed for tourism but home to exceptionally beautiful coves and turquoise waters.

In the east lies the monastic republic of Athos, accessible only to men, with around 20 monasteries. It belongs to the Greek state but is self-governed. What makes Mount Athos so fascinating is not only its lush, green vegetation, but especially its monastery architecture, its unique and mystical religious atmosphere, its treasures of ancient icons, and its extensive and oldest Byzantine library.

The “Avaton” (access restriction) still applies today to women. Only men may enter the holy Mount Athos with special permission from the prefecture of Thessaloniki. From Ormos Panagias, daily boat trips around Mount Athos are organized.

On the Sithonia peninsula, our holiday homes are located directly on the beaches of Trikorfo, Nikiti, and Spathies, as well as on the eastern coast near Agios Nikolaos, Ormos Panagias, and Vourvourou.
