Spyros House

Overlooking the rooftops of Aghios Mattaios and the surrounding countryside, the small Spyros House is located in a quiet cul-de-sac of the village. The two-storey house from the 1970s, built in the traditional style of the island, was completely renovated, refurnished and converted into a holiday home in the winter of 2023-24. The house's former separate outdoor kitchen was converted into a beautiful, sheltered terrace.

On the ground floor of the holiday home are the eat-in kitchen and the adjoining guest WC. A turning staircase leads to the upper floor. Here you will find the spacious bedroom with adjoining bathroom and direct access to the small balcony with a beautiful view. From the ground floor there is access to the terrace in front of the holiday home. A narrow footpath leads to Spyros House, approx. 100m from the car park of the holiday home. You cannot drive to the house by car, there is only the footpath.

A narrow path about 200m long leads from the house to the centre of the village with cafés, tavernas and a grocery shop.

Wild, romantic, winding paths lead from Aghios Mattaios, between dense, old olive groves to the nearby coasts and beaches of the island, to Paramonas, Skidi, Kanouli or Halikounas.
