Loutra Crete landscape

The northern coastline of Crete, stretching from the Apokoronas Peninsula via Rethymno to Heraklion, is characterized by its diverse and green landscape. Around Rethymno, you will find extensive sandy beaches, while further east the scenery becomes more rugged with rocky outcrops and sheltered bays.

The traditional Cretan village of Loutra is located about 11 km east of Rethymno.
