Alexandra House

On the northern coast of Crete, approximately 50 km west of Heraklion and 36 km east of Rethimno, lies the charming seaside village of Bali. Above the picturesque Bali Bay and the popular beaches of Livadi and Varkotopos, the small, green settlement of Vlychada enjoys a beautiful hillside location – a wonderful place to spend a relaxing holiday in a Mediterranean atmosphere.

The four terraced houses, arranged in a slightly staggered formation, are nestled within a well-maintained, enclosed garden and blend harmoniously into the lush surroundings. The centrally located holiday home Alexandra is available for rent through us and features its own private garden area as well as lovely views over Bali Bay. The other three houses are privately owned by different owners and used for their personal enjoyment.

The two-storey terraced house Alexandra has level access to the ground floor. The open-plan living and dining area creates a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Adjoining it are the open-plan kitchen and a bathroom. From the living room, guests can step directly onto both the front and rear terraces, which invite them to relax and enjoy the outdoors. A BBQ provides the perfect setting for nice evenings beneath the Cretan sky.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, each with its own balcony, as well as a shared bathroom. The sea views from the balconies are beautiful. The enclosed garden offers a peaceful retreat where guests can enjoy the tranquillity and Mediterranean ambience. Two folding canvas sun loungers invite guests to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Four beach chairs and two parasols are also provided for guests to use at the beach.

The holiday home is an ideal base for beach holidays and exploring the island. Alexandra House combines an attractive location, sea views, comfortable accommodation and easy access to the beaches of Bali. Whether you prefer relaxing days by the sea, sociable evenings on the terrace or excursions into Crete’s diverse countryside, you will find the perfect balance of relaxation and activity here.

Thanks to its convenient location on the northern coast, the property is an excellent starting point for excursions to Heraklion and Rethimno, as well as visits to the famous archaeological sites of Knossos and Elefterna or walks and hikes through the beautiful surrounding countryside.
