Northeast Crete Mirabello Bay landscape

The northeastern coast of Crete stretches from Elounda and Agios Nikolaos via Sitia all the way to the famous palm beach of Vai. A prominent place in this region is Agios Nikolaos in the Mirabello Bay, with its beautiful harbour and a small inland lake surrounded by numerous cafés and tavernas.

The small village of Kalo Chorio is located about 10 km east of Agios Nikolaos, slightly above the Mirabello Bay.
