The picturesque Old Town of Monemvassia, Byzantine and Frankish time, is connected by a narrow bridge with the mainland. How a fortress, surrounded by thick protective walls, the car free Old Town sits enthroned over the sea. It fascinates through its narrow lanes, beautiful old houses, nice taverns, galleries and art trade stores.
Approx. 7 km south of Monemvassia there is the district Xifias. On the outskirts of Xifias the house Luisa with pool with a marvelous view to the sea and the Old Town of Monemvassia is located.
