The mansion Kalliani lies in an exposed position on a well-tended property (approx. 1200 square meters) with lawn, flowers and Mediterranean plants on the outskirts of Cherethiana. From here you have a wonderful panoramic and sea view.

Crete is with approx. 8,300 km² the biggest Greek island and is in the southern Mediterranean Sea. The island forms a fascinating connection of landscape and history. The oldest population tracks come from the time of 7000 B.C. On Crete you find museums and excavation sites of great importance, for example, Knossos and Phaistos. Bathing in crystal clear water and hiking over mountains and through gulches make Crete to an experience of nature. You find our holiday houses, apartments and villas in the green west near Chania, near Rethymnon in the villages Prines, Prinos, Aghia Triada, Loutra and by Sfakaki, in the north-east of the island by Elounda, Kalo Chorio. near Istron and in the south of the island near Triopetra and Plakias.

| Review well | Weit weg von allem... Unsere Villa lag in absoluter Alleinlage auf dem Gipfel eines Berges. Garten und Pool sind sehr gepflegt. Das Haus macht einen "bewohnten" Eindruck, da die Besitzer viel individuelles und sogar Vorräte in Küche und Barschrank mit übergeben. Katzenfutter für hungrige Gartenmitbenutzer wurde ebenfalls gestellt. Wer mit sich und der Welt insgesamt allein zufrieden ist, gut kurvige Strassen fahren kann und zum Einkaufen gut organisiert aufbricht kann hier kaum etwas falsch machen. Wir waren als Paar dort und hätten uns evtl. noch zwei andere Personen als Mitbewohner vorstellen können. Mehr wäre uns zu eng geworden (trotz drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern). Die Besitzer erschienen selbst zur Gartenpflege und waren sehr bemüht alles recht zu machen. Terassen, Balkone, Grillplatz, Pool konnten wir auf Grund des ständigen sehr starken Windes nicht so wirklich geniessen. In ca. 20 Minuten kann man die Küste und dortige Orte erreichen, um Einkäufe zu erledigen, im Meer zu baden oder mal essen zu gehen. Insgesamt ist es ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wer abends bzw. nachts anreist sollte die Aussage, daß der Hausbesitzer "das Licht auf dem Berg anlässt" wörtlich nehmen und sich trauen wirklich kleine Strassen in Dunkelheit zu fahren - und der guten Wegbeschreibung zu vertrauen! |
