Tersanas
The city of Chania, economic and cultural centre of the region, was already settled in Mionic time. Centre of the townscape is the circular harbor, framed by a promenade with numerous cafés, taverns and nice house fronts. The townscape Chanias is dominated by winding lanes, nice villas and many small places, residues of the Romans, Byzantines, Venetians, Franconia and Ottomans.
