Old two storied mansion, restored in 1997, furnished tastefully, approx. 180 square meters, 4 bedrooms, in the midst of a nice garden with many flowers and plants. Crete
Crete is with approx. 8,300 km² the biggest Greek island and is in the southern Mediterranean Sea. The island forms a fascinating connection of landscape and history. The oldest population tracks come from the time of 7000 B.C. On Crete you find museums and excavation sites of great importance, for example, Knossos and Phaistos. Bathing in crystal clear water and hiking over mountains and through gulches make Crete to an experience of nature. You find our holiday houses, apartments and villas in the green west near Chania, near Rethymnon in the villages Prines, Prinos, Aghia Triada, Loutra and by Sfakaki, in the north-east of the island by Elounda, Kalo Chorio. near Istron and in the south of the island near Triopetra and Plakias.

| Review excellent | Tolles Haus Da es bei unserer Ankunft schon dunkel war, war das Haus nicht ganz leicht zu finden, da es in einer sehr kleinen Gasse gelegen ist. Aber diese Schwierigkeiten wurden schon durch den ersten Eindruck beim Betreten des Hauses wettgemacht.
Die Villa Miranta erfüllt alle Erwartungen, die man anhand der Fotos und Beschreibung hat. Es ist ein Haus mit viel Flair, in dem man sich gleich wohl fühlt. Alles ist sehr sauber und die Ausstattung ist auch top. Besonders die Abende auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den beleuchteten Pool haben wir sehr genossen.
Leider war der Pool im Oktober doch schon recht kalt, so daß wir den eher selten genutzt haben.
Da alle 4 Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Bad haben, kommt es auch bei "Voll-Belegung" hier zu keinen Engpässen. Allerdings liegt eines der Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoß im Durchgang zwischen Wohnbereich und Treppenhaus, d.h. man muß einmal durchlaufen (man könnte es allerdings auch einfach über den Innenhof umgehen). Wir haben unsere Kinder da untergebracht, so daß das auch kein Problem war.
In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt's eine nette Taverne, wo man gut essen kann, und auch kleine Geschäfte für die nötigsten Dinge. Und nach Rethymnon ist man mit dem Auto auch in wenigen Minuten gefahren, wenn man doch mal etwas anderes ausprobieren möchte.
Fazit: Ohne Einschränkung zu empfehlen.
