Kambia

The city Chania, economic and cultural centre of the region, was already settled in Minoan time. Centre of the townscape is the circular harbor, framed by a promenade with numerous cafés, taverns and nice house fronts. The townscape of Chania is dominated by winding lanes, nice villas and many small places, legacies of the Romans, Byzantines, Venetians, Franconia and Ottomans. Chania is starting point for a walking-tour through the Samaria gulch.

Kambia - more Information

Kambia
Between Rethymnon and Chania, is the peninsula Apokoronou - an attractive area with old villages, nice vegetation and views at the sea. Kambia, a nice Cretan village, built on the slopes of the Apokoronas, with wide view at the Souda bay and the opposite peninsula Akrotiri. Something beyond the place, quietly, idyllic and with breathtaking view at the sea there lies our house Eva.
