Here you can find important information that you should know before making your reservation.
Basic Offer
The following aspects are a fundamental part of our offer – in addition to the “General Terms of Agreement”, the basics for your reservation and our reservation confirmation which are represented in this price list as well as on our website. In general, you should only be concerned with reading the individual descriptions that are in our catalog and on our website. For example, you shouldn’t expect to have a living room if there isn’t one listed in the description.

Beside the "checked vacation home quality" we offer you now more security for your summer home reservation! With the „Jassu best - prize-guarantee“ you can always book for the best price your holiday's domicile. With reservation of your holiday's lodging in Greece at Jassu Reisen we guarantee for the booked travelling time always the best price. Should this holiday's lodging be offered in the same travelling time and with the same conditions by another travel mediator, tour operator or travel agency in Germany cheaper than by Jassu Reisen, we refund of course immediately the difference. Please, follow the following advices: Comparative basis to Jassu Reisen is the price which is expelled in the catalogue (Print or Internet) of another German mediator at the reservation time and is bookable. The travelling time, the number of persons as well as the chosen conditions must correspond with the offer of Jassu Reisen. Short-term prize lowering after already occurred reservation, individually negotiated discounts, possible tax / delivery-conditioned prize changes and special offers are excluded from the „Jassu best-prize-guarantee“.
Arrival and Departure
On the day of departure, the renter should have the vacation home tidied up before 10:00 a.m. There should be enough time for the property owner to clean before the next guest arrives at 4:00 p.m. If you have an earlier flight that is outside of this time period or have small children with you and want to have earlier access to the vacation home, just ask us. We will try to work out a better option for you with the property owner or the caretaker. This also applies for those who would like to leave at a later time.
Cribs
If cribs are available, they will be mentioned in the property description (pictogram / description) and have to be requested at the time of booking.
Complaints
If you are in the uncomfortable situation of having to file a complaint about something, please tell us as soon as the problem or deficiency arises – we will try and find a solution or in some cases offer an alternative property. We don’t have any tourism management in Greece. Property owners, caretakers, agencies, etc. don’t work as tourism managers, aren’t authorized representatives of Jassu, don’t have the authority to recognize a grievance or offer a binding and/or accept an explanation for us (please see 8.4. in the General Terms of Agreement). We ask you to contact the owner or caretaker only in cases of a secondary nature, for example, when a set of utensils isn’t complete. Occupancy
A rental property’s maximum occupancy is provided in the price list as well as being confirmed in writing by Jassu. This number of guests cannot be exceeded. For example, 4-6 people means that there are sleeping arrangements available for 4 people with an additional 2 occupants being able to sleep in the dining room, living room or other living areas. Cots are generally only designed for people who are 160 cm or shorter. Written authorization is required for the accommodation of additional guests or house pets – even when that accommodation is temporary. For houses with several identical apartments, Jassu, or the owners of the property, will allocate the apartments on-site You can choose your dates of accommodation personally. The minimum length of stay is seven consecutive days.
Reservation Process
You can make reservations over the phone, via fax, e-mail and on the Internet. You will receive written confirmation after your reservation has been received. You will not receive confirmation of your payment. You will receive your travel documents after we receive your final payment and the ferry or flight documents, usually 10-14 days before your departure date.
Final Inspection
The final inspection from the owner or the caretaker will normally take place on the day of departure between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. If you are departing early in the morning, you can meet with the owner or caretaker, for example, on the evening before your departure. The owner will take care of the general cleaning of the vacation property. Please make sure that the vacation home is left “clean-swept” – that means: - Disposal of trash and remaining food - Washing and putting away the dishes - Cleaning the stove and refrigerator- Sweeping the entire vacation home / apartment
Grill
During extremely dry summer months, the usage of the grill on the property will be limited.
House pets
House pets are only allowed when it is specified in the property description (pictogram/description). Notification is required.
Classification
The objects are divided in categories by the Jassu flowers which we would like to explain to you briefly. Please take time to peruse this information. * to ** - simple. Objects with very simple equipment, often without living room area, simple culinary equipment, simply equipped baths. Land-customary plastic garden furniture. *** - middle class. Objects with good, rustic or modern, functional equipment, often with small living room area. Suitable culinary equipment. Plastic garden or directorial chairs. **** - upper class. Objects with comfortable equipment, big living / dining room area, mostly with fireplace, high culinary equipment. Comfortably furnished baths, mostly with shower cabin or Jacuzzi-tub. Comfortable, garden furniture equipment (mostly wood or rattan) sun lounger, big sunshades. The difference to the luxurious category is less the quality than in the overall impression and in the residential ambience. ***** - luxurious. Objects with very comfortable, costly equipment and special residential ambience. Fitted kitchen with all current devices. Mostly big baths attached to the bedroom, often with Jacuzzi-tub, shower cabin or two wash basins. Several seat groups in the garden, comfortable, mostly upholstered sun lounges, big sunshades, roofed pergolas. Authoritatively for the equipment of the object is the respective description. It is very detailed and shows specific features also of simple objects, as for example a particularly nice situation or terrace. Because the objects are private property, the equipment is based on the taste of the owner.
Additional costs and deposits
When additional costs like air conditioning or heating are listed in the price quotation or the individual property description, these will be settled with the owner / caretaker on-site. For some vacation homes there is a “deposit amount” listed. Please be aware that the deposit should be taken care of with the owner or caretaker immediately following arrival at the property. Owner and caretakers usually won’t ask their guests directly for this deposit – please respect this situation and offer the amount without making them ask. The deposit should be paid in cash. Following a normal return of the house to the owner, you will get your deposit back. If during your stay there is damage to the property that cannot be calculated immediately, the deposit will be kept. After the damage has been taken care of, the owner will send us an invoice which we will forward along to you.
Insurance
When you receive the written confirmation, there will also be an offer for travel insurance enclosed. It is offered from “HanseMerkur Reiseversicherung AG” and is offered as an option
Pool
Please check the description of whether the pool is for exclusive or shared use. In general the use is from mid-May to mid-October possible.
Linens
For all of the properties that we offer, the linens will be supplied by the owner of the rental property. This includes bed linens, bath towels and kitchen linens. The bed linens provided include sheets, pillows and blankets for every bed / person. The bath towels provided include one hand towel and one bath towel per person. No beach towels / blankets will be provided. The kitchen linens provided include a table cloth and several dishtowels. The linens will normally be changed / washed once per week. For some properties, the linens will be changed more frequently: every day, every other day or two times per week. This is a special service and is can be expected from the upper class categories.
Access to properties
Properties are mostly situated in a quite area, often hidden with direct access to the beach. The driveways to these properties are often unpaved dirt or gravel roads
